Recently, Lil Wayne denied that he has a baby underway with Shanell. Wayne had a recent jail sentence but more than that, he was still very active in attending events and snuggling it out with a new artist on his record label, Shanell.

Is there really something going on between the two? If there is, it might not be a good idea for Wayne to engaged into the relationship, as the owner-singer relationship might be ruined. It would be foolish to enter into it.

Shanell is an American songstress who was born in Massachusetts and raised in Atlanta. Her real name is Shanell Woodgett, sister of the former Danity Kane member D. Woods. She began doing background-dancing jobs for artist like Kandi Burress, Petey Pablo and Ne-Yo before embarking on a songwriter career.

Subsequently, she teamed up with friend and producer from Bangladesh and recorded a demo tape aimed to promote herself as a solo artist. Good enough, it gained minor popularity, where she then met Wayne while serving as a dance for Ne-Yo during the Up close and Personal tour. Shortly after, she joined Wayne and began recording songs and attending tours.

Now as the heated rumor are abound. Shanell said the rumors about whether she's dating Lil Wayne have run rampant but have no basis in reality.

“Basically it came from a corny rumor that escalated. First I was dating him, then I was his girlfriend, then we were getting married, then we were settling down and now I'm pregnant. It's so foolish we've haven't paid it any attention.”

As for the photos taken about the two hugging, both said they are just simply taking pictures together. Now guys don’t just have to put malice into it!
